The permeable alternative to our Breedon Golden Amber self-binding gravel. Breedon Buff chippings are quarried at our Breedon Quarry in Derbyshire alongside our Breedon Golden Amber Gravel and are therefore identical in colour. Produced from hard-wearing limestone this product provides that aesthetically pleasing natural buff tone, whilst not crushing or crumbling with use over time which many other "Buff" materials have a tendency to do. Whilst not self-binding, these durable, angular chippings are a favoured choice for schemes requiring a free-draining driveway or car park solution. When laid directly onto an MOT Type I Sub Base and passed with a roller or vibrating plate Breedon Buff chippings interlock exceptionally well to provide a stable, semi-fixed surface.
In addition Breedon Buff chippings work wonderfully well alongside Breedon Golden Amber self-binding gravel to provide an overall refined, natural finish to any project

Breedon Buff is a free draining, very hard, angular limestone which doesn't crush down or discolour over time. This product sits beautifully alongside our Breedon Golden Amber self-binding gravel and is our most popular decorative aggregate within our range.
Available in 10mm, 14mm and 20mm, this versatile decorative aggregate is a perfect choice for driveways, car parks, footpaths, borders, rockeries, tree pits and all landscaping applications.
