Housing Development - Priors Hall, Corby – Breheny Civil Engineering Ltd

Last month we supplied 180 tonnes of Breedon Wayfarer, our 6mm to dust self-binding limestone, which is quarried here at Breedon on the Hill, to our customer, Breheny Civil Engineering Ltd.

We delivered the Wayfarer over a period of 3 weeks for footpaths and cycle routes throughout the prestigious Priors Hall housing development in Corby.

When asked why our product was selected for this contract, the site agent for Breheny Civil Engineering said the following:

“Self-binding Breedon Wayfarer has been chosen as the surface for private footpaths as it naturally blends into the environment, providing a country feel in an urban residential area. The buff colour seamlessly merges into the surrounding area providing an aesthetically pleasing surface , while also providing a stable structure for pushchairs and bicycles so it can be enjoyed by all.”

Breedon Special Aggregates have worked with Breheny Civil Engineering on several large contracts prior to this development and look forward to continuing to do so on future projects around the country.
