The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is creating a stunning new 156-acre RHS Garden in the heart of the North West by bringing back to life the lost historic grounds at Worsley New Hall in Salford. The amazing RHS Garden Bridgewater is planned to open later this year!

RHS Garden Bridgewater will be the fifth garden to join the RHS’ current portfolio of gardens at Wisley in Surrey, Rosemoor in Devon, Hyde Hall in Essex and Harlow Carr in Yorkshire.

We originally began quoting contractors back in July 2018. A E Yates Limited won the contract and we supplied a bulk bag of Breedon Golden Amber Gravel for approval by the client last September.

A test panel was laid in accordance with our laying guide and after viewing its performance over a period of time Breedon Gravel was selected as the best product for the job above other self-binding materials on the market.

We have started supply today with an initial 20 tonne load and there is expected to be a minimum 500 tonne requirement over the next few months.

We are looking forward to seeing our Breedon gravel laid throughout this fantastic setting and will post photographs when we have them - watch this space!
