The Park Estate Nottingham

Here are before and after photographs of our Breedon Golden Amber Gravel used to reinstate existing footpaths throughout the green spaces at The Park Estate Nottingham.

The Park Estate is a private residential estate to the west of Nottingham City Centre and still uses gas street lighting, which is believed to be the largest estate still to do so in Europe. It was designated a conservation area in 1969.

In June we delivered 70 tonnes of our self-binding Breedon Golden Amber Gravel to Outlook Landscaping who are based in Atherstone. Shaun Aughterlony, owner of Outlook Landscapes, has laid our self-binding products and decorative chippings for many years and knows how to get the very best out of our materials.

Here the old existing Breedon Gravel had to be removed and discarded. Fresh Breedon Golden Amber Gravel was rolled in to the prepared surface and finished flush with the edgings to ensure surface water isn’t held on the surface.

We think you’ll agree the contractor has done a fantastic job and brought The Park Estate back to its former glory.
