Love Your Garden

Breedon Special Aggregates were very proud to have been invited by Spungold TV to supply our Breedon Golden Amber self-binding gravel for the creation of a wonderful sensory garden in Guildford by the Love Your Garden team.

We supplied our Breedon Gravel in bulk bags on a crane off load vehicle directly to their project.  The product was chosen due to it being both a natural limestone, which fitted in with the garden design perfectly, but also because it provides a durable and robust surface.

The garden was created in very wet conditions in November of last year – the team did an amazing job of getting everything completed on time despite the wintery conditions!

The garden was created for Kirsty and her children and she was nominated by her father in recognition of all she and her family have been through over the years.

Kirsty is the mother of 3 year old twins, Phoebe and Sam. She was born with Stickler Syndrome, which is a hereditary condition characterised by a distinctive facial appearance, eye abnormalities, hearing loss, and joint problems. Sadly the condition was inherited by her daughter Phoebe whom has had to undergo many operations since she was born.
